it was spring...

...at one point in the past month. It doesn't seem like it now. But it did happen, and it was wonderful.

I guess little miss schmutz and I were a little overeager to jump into spring, full force. It was beautiful for all of our April/May visitors, and for even two weeks afterwards. We thought spring was finally here. We enjoyed it by exploring at the park. Ashlyn has now learned how to slide down by herself, even though she'd rather go with someone usually. And, she has also learned how to climb up ladders - even the weird shaped ones. The parks have, all of a sudden, become a lot more fun with those two discoveries.

But, it looks as though Spring has gone back into hiding.. It is cold and wet again. But, now that I think about it. Spring might have found us, and we are just waiting for Summer to get here. We have our seasons all mixed up in such a place as this. We'll be able to straighten it out once we figure out what Spring is, and what Summer is suppose to be!
